Waterflood Optimisation - Flat Lake Ratcliff-Led team of reservoir, production, and chemical engineering students to optimise existingwaterflood operation in the Flat Lake Ratcliff Pool-Conducted OH log interpretation, STOOIP calculations (volumetric & material balance),decline curve analysis (pool and well-by-well level), and analytical modelling-Determined performance gaps and identified optimisation opportunities based on fieldand section-by-section GOR and VRR profiles-Conducted economic analysis on base case operation forecast and several optimisationforecast scenarios

Catalysis for Bitumen Upgrading and Hydrogen Production Group University of Calgary-Supported research on asphaltene damage inhibition in heavy oil and SAGD waste water treatment.-Assisted in the development of nanoparticles for treatment of heavy oil to mitigate problems in production and transportation associated with asphaltene precipitation and aggregation.-Designed and conducted lab experimental studies to develop nanoparticles; conducted data analysis to optimize nanoparticle adsorption properties.-Co-author of: “In-house prepared silicate-based nanosorbcats for recovering organic pollutants from wastewater and turning them into fuel: Experimental and computational approaches”. Presented in Western Canada Water (WCW) 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition.
