• Bring about the life of any coating system on a steel substrate depends significantly on the quality of the surface preparation, smooth welds radius edges and clean surfaces contribute to a longer service life for installed coatings.• Implement painting material incoming inspection and report ensure proper painting materials reservation subsequently.• Ensure Quality Control activities are properly documented and reported.• Verify that the consumables are received with proper Batch Certificates and meet the project requirements & also ensure that the batch certificates have been reviewed and accepted.• Ensure Blaster and painter qualification Test and Records PQT/PQR.• Carry through of blasting grade surface roughness by digital surface roughness gauge or replica tap by micrometer and dust assessment check as per standards.• Conduct toolboxes talk to the supervisor to make them aware about the project specific requirements.• Keep maintain air/metal temperature, humidity, dew point temperature, Blotter test, blasting pressure, dead man handle, during rain, snow, or high winds those kind condition and perform coatings inspections with ensure safe working conditions.• Ensure painting shelf life, mixing ratio, induction time, pot life, over-coating interval time as per manufacturing data sheet.• Painting defects identify and discuss painting team to mitigate those defects.• Implement steel structure painting PQT, PQR Pull off adhesion test and fireproof painting Cementitious and Intumescent types painting work inspection.• Prepared all documents dossier and submitted to Customer.
