Hey there! I'm an energy engineer with a double degree in Energy from KU Leuven, Belgium, and KTH, Sweden. I'm passionate about designing practical solutions in energy technology, because I have a deep-rooted fascination with physics and how things work in nature. My ultimate motivation is to design things that make everyday people's lives better.I'm currently working with Volvo Penta, we design electromobility solutions for the marine and industrial application making the long awaited shift for sustainable transport. Where I work in particular with motor drive systems like electric machines and power electronic drives.I'm a naturally curious and creative person, always eager to explore new ideas and think outside the box. I love tackling complex problems and approaching them from unique angles to find innovative solutions.Outside of work, you can often find me outdoors, enjoying nature and especially birdwatching. It's my way of staying connected with nature. In my leisure time, I also love a good game of chess. Beyond my personal interests, I've had the opportunity to apply my skills through projects, during my studies: including coding, modelling, and data analysis. One of my notable achievements was designing and building a permanent magnet synchronous machine for a small wind turbine. I've also thrived in engineering competitions like the Hyperloop and Formula Student UK, where I contributed to the development of innovative powertrain components.I'm always into seeking opportunities to leverage my expertise and creativity in technical roles focused on product development, research, and innovation.
