This strategic report enabled us to procure at a price that was unavailable to any competitor. Fiber Optic Cable & Accessories procured at 50% less than existing cost. It was usual practice of company to purchase Fiber Optic cable from one supplier and Accessories from another. We defined a material mix strategy, where all related materials purchased from single approved vendor resulting in huge savings.Implementation of strategies and policies like above resulted in winning of two big value tenders namely Hameedia & Masoudi Project – SAR 89 Million & Hajer/Nuzha Project – SAR 42 Million.Successfully closed a deal of SAR Five (5) Million relating to procurement of EHV Testing Equipment from Germany and delivered smoothly without any additional costs.Dynamically developed supply chain by inducing new quality suppliers and managed to negotiate at price level below than previous purchase price thereby reducing the cost by 5% to 10%.Served as final authority in closing a dispute with supplier amounting to SAR 2.7 Million relating to FOTE system works for Al Warood project.
