United States Capitol, Exterior Stones and Metals Restoration, Washington, DC Inspector/Project Controls The Exterior Stone and Metal Preservation project at the U.S. Capitol Building was a major rehabilitation of the exterior stone, metals, and lighting which will help prolong the life expectancy and preserve the historic features. This facility houses the proceedings of the U.S. Congress and their staff. The area is situated on a 4 acre site at East Capitol St NE & First St SE, Washington, DC. The scope of the project involved the building of temporary security and accessibility systems and preservation treatment of the exterior stone and metals. Stone preservation work included cleaning and stain removal, re-pointing of mortar joints, Dutchman repairs, assessment of the pediment sculptures, marble consolidation ornamentation, sealant replacement, and metal flashing replacement. Ornamental metals work included restoration of bronze, cast and wrought iron railings, light fixtures, and other ornamentation on the building and terrace.

GSA Region 3, National Foreign Affairs Training Center Arlington, VAForeign Service Institute facility headquarters with the objective of designing and constructing a $7 million dollar perimeter security upgrade and a separate $7 million dollar child care facility expansion on an occupied site at the NFATC campus. The campus encompasses approximately 65 acres and will serve to install 4 secure perimeter entrances as well as the child care center to improve services for a diverse student population that includes foreign affairs staff, Civil and Foreign Service Officers, and DS special agents among other personnel, will provide training for up to 3,500 students per day and can accommodate 1,735 faculty and staff.GSA Region 3, Federal Bureau of Investigation Central Records Complex Winchester, VAContracted by GSA to support FBI during design and construction of a central repository for 120 linear miles of official records in a secure and state-of-the-art building. Facility will serve to house critically important storage of FBI assets allowing for secure retrieval and management of documents. The level IV security standard facility is situated on a 59 acre site and shall accommodate building site, parking, and security perimeters and consists of 256,425 gross square feet.GSA Region 3, Maryland Public Health Labs Baltimore, MDMaryland Legislature recognized an urgent need for Healthcare infrastructure and a new public health lab in response to evolving public health needs. As a result, Maryland Public Health Lab (MPHL) project featured superior BSL-3 spaces and maintenance facilities and is the most advanced public health laboratory in the US with a final constructed value at $127 million dollars. MPHL is a 7-story building, includes five scientific lab divisions, Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) along with BSL-3 and a vivarium. The building received a Silver LEED certification approaching Gold classification.
