Gadzoox Networks provides networking solutions for enterprise storage systems based on our comprehensive line of Fibre Channel SAN products, including switches, routers and management software.I was hired to manage the system test organization responsible for firmware evaluation of all our internal products. Such evaluations include functional, stress, performance, and interoperability systems-level testing. Responsibilities included managing test group, writing test plans, tracking and managing “bugs” and supporting beta test sites. Duties also included developing plans and strategies, and evaluating tools to support system level testing. Demonstrated software test methodology techniques, and skills in test development, test automation, and test execution. Conducted performance measurement on various disk drives like Seagate, Quantum, & IBM with different host adapters using our 2G FC switch. Demonstrated excellent communication skills and experience in supporting customers/partners, and ability to conduct technical briefings and interact at a technical level with senior engineers at our partner companies and internal engineers.

This project involved creating Windows NT based network, which included Primary Domain Controller, DHCP servers, WINS and DNS. Also included INTRANET/INTERNET solution, Novell IPX servers, UNIX workstation, AppleTalk and Windows 95 clients. The project also required monitoring Beta test site progress, problem reproduction and their solution.
