from Sept. 2003 - Sept. 2008, I was serving as the Chairman of the Genecure Health Care Ltd. at 37 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka-1213, Bangladesh which was involved in patient consultation, diagnostics, research and training.Prior to coming to Bangladesh, I was the Head of the Gene Theraoy Center, Huddinge University Hospital, Karolinska Institute, Sweden and an Associate Professor of Molecular Medicine of the same Institute.Briefly, my job description in Sweden included administrative, teaching and training of graduate and potgraduate students, doctors and technicians, research, fund raising for international clinical trials and conducting such trials.

Running the centre, promoting gene therapy activities in Sweden and other countries in Europe, production of Gene Therapy vectors for clinical trials, teaching post graduate students, publishing scientific papers and also functioning as the head of Molecular Medicine group.
