About Khalid Hussain Chohan
I have retired from Army as Lieutenant Colonel. I have 37 years of professional experience to my credit and had the opportunity to serve on various HR, administrative and logistic/ procurement related appointments both during my army service as well as after retirement in private, public and NGO sectors. I also have more than 15 years of teaching experience including ten years experience of teaching in various universities as permanent/ visiting faculty. I wish to work in a competitive environment to further polish my management, administrative and instructional skills.Army• Served for 27 years on various command, staff, logistics and instructional appointments up to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Had two tenures in GHQ A Tenure in Ministry of Defense Production and also served in United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNOMIL) as UN Military Observer in 1994. o Commanded Artillery battery (company) and acted as second in command of an Artillery Regiment.o Commanded an Artillery Regiment at two different cantonments. o Looking after/ supervising security of various organizations. o Employed in Internal Security duties at various occasions and had the opportunity to: Plan, supervise and conduct General elections of 1990 in District Dadu (Sindh) and General Elections of 1996 in Faisalabad District. Plan, supervise and conduct National Census of 1998 in Swabi, District Mardan (KPK) Conduct disaster management operations during floods and earthquake at various times. Help and assist law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order in Sind Province. o Planning, managing and supervising various HR functions/ aspects/ activities of different organizations comprising human resource up to approx 0ver 600 persons. o Planning, conducting & supervising HRD activities of various organizations comprising human resource up to approx 600 persons.
