During first six months of assignment focused on identifying partners at district level, preparation of lists, identification of FDPs, random verifications of lists to ascertain eligibility of beneficiaries and selection of focal persons for receiving food consignments, witness distribution, preparation of final EMOP report and liaison with different stockholders. After completion of drought EMOP, I was responsible for the WFP Immediate response emergency Operation (IR-EMOP) to assist the district authorities in three rain/flood hit areas of sindh province .During this (IR-EMOP),I liaised closely with the district authorities in the commodity logistics, distribution and disbursement of funds.
