Key Responsibilities:1- Work closely with top management in strategic plans formulation & implementation as well as providing professional advice on all aspects of business planning, merchandising, quality assurance and problem solving.2- Lead the subordinates to drive business in achieving company objectives and targets.3- Responsible for leading team of staff in providing all sourcing, merchandising, and quality assurance duties for global clients.4- Liaising with the overseas buyers for business development.5- Floating orders inquiries to different manufacturers/vendors. Costing of all styles of garments based on current raw material prices and keeping in view the imports orders placement situation in the industry/local market.6- Price negotiation with buyers and vendors/manufacturers.7- Orders confirmations from buyers and sourcing /placement of these orders with manufacturers. 8- Sourcing and evaluation of new vendors/manufacturers.9- Direct involvement in all critical issues of merchandising, quality assurance and orders execution to take prompt decisions.10- Communicate quality requirements, inspection policies and procedures to QA staff and factories to ensure that production will meet the buyer’s requirement.11- Provide quality assurance advice to factories before & during the manufacturing process and anticipate quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process.12- Ensuring smooth orders execution with required quality level and on time shipments by adopting necessary control and co-ordination.
