I am a Mechanical Engineer with over 33 years of experience in plant engineering, nuclear systems, tribology, equipment reliability, quality assurance, and asset management. Currently, I serve as the Lead Auditor General (NQA-1 certified) – Nuclear Oversight at Ontario Power Generation, where I conduct compliance and performance-based audits.I hold a board of director position with the Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers (STLE) and am a chair person of the CLS Certification Exam committee. STLE is a premier technical society that serves the needs of more than 13,000 individuals and 250 companies and organizations worldwide in the tribology and lubrication engineering sector.At Ontario Power Generation, I have championed Predictive Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and Rotating Equipment Programs. Notable examples of my research include lubrication in harsh high-radiation environments, which is frequently cited within the nuclear industry, the introduction of modern turbine oil and mechanical sealant materials for nuclear power applications, and the use of infrared thermography on critical electrical applications. I have also mentored final-year engineering students on Capstone Projects and delivered lectures on Tribology.Additionally, I participate in the Advisory Board of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University in Toronto, Ontario.
