• Sourcing, analyzing, structuring and facilitating client relationship seeking Trade & Working Capital Finance to ensure growth in balance sheet while corroborating service delivery through liaising with various intra-organizational depts.• Delivering agreed Asset/Liability/Revenue numbers through funded/non-funded based facilities, Trade/FX transactional volumes and taking them on board for different alternative channels.• Raising credit proposal with a mix of non-funded/funded limits with structure of pre/post sale limits ensuring credit risk is adequately mitigated through detailed analysis.• Relationship to be maintained in compliance with bank and regulator’s guidelines on KYC, AML, Risk Levels, high valued transactions and STR escalation.

• Developed Policy and Procedure related to Trade Services workflows e.g. Import Letters of Credit, Export Letters of Credit, Letters of Guarantee, Documentary Collection. • Preparing Client Applications and related forms for Trade Services.• Member of CBS (Core Banking System) selection team.• UAT and subsequent modification of Trade Finance Modules in CBS as per our requirements• Corresponding with ICC, Paris for reference and support materials and updates on governing rules of Trade.

• Verification of LC before the final release.• Scrutinizing of shipping documents against LCs.• Lodgment of Inward Documentary Collection Documents• Assisted other RMs in business development activities.

• Active involvement in maintaining business and operational relationship with Correspondent Banks and Corporate Clients. • Involved in proposing trade assets mainly comprising of risk participation in LCs and Foreign Guarantees.• Well versed with Risk Participation Agreements (RPAs), documentation and associated risk weights. • Coordination with Wholesale Banking and International & Institutional Banking Division on proposal related to Trade Finance Products.• Responsible for Issuance of Local, Inward & Outward Foreign Guarantees. • Handled Clean/Documentary Bills for Collection.• Responsible for Issuance/Amendments/Reimbursement of Import LCs for Corporate/Retail Clients in line with their sanctioned Facilities. • Complete practical and working knowledge of lodgment and retirement/payment of documents under LCs (sight tenor).• Involved in lodgment and settlement of usance/maturity payments for documents under LCs (Time tenor).• Execution of all above Business Processes in compliance with Int’l Banking Practice e.g. UCP-600, URC-522, URDG 458 etc.• Preparation of MIS reports for Management.
