Mobile Capital Network (MCN) is a team of highly skilled engineers, scientists and finance professionals dedicated to helping Canadian and international software, technology and manufacturing companies with Canadian presence to access various government research and development tax credits and grants.

• Hired and managed a team of 20 developers at Terida’s offices in Toronto and North Carolina.• Implemented IT standards, policies and procedures. Introduced logging and SLA monitoring solutions, as well as a centralized ITIL compliant knowledge base.• Responsible for the architecture and implementation of all of Terida’s core applications for both the legal and healthcare markets.• Responsible for running Terida’s software consulting business, architecting client solutions using J2EE and .NET.• Revised IT policies to conform to North American privacy and healthcare information legislation such as PHIPA, HIPAA, and PIPEDA.• Assisted in the composition of responses to several government requests for proposals. Successfully awarded over $7 million CAD in business over a three-year period.• Managed stakeholders ranging from US federal government agencies (including Homeland Security), to the Ministries of Health in Ontario, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago and the Provincial Courts of Canada.

• Worked with Group Telecom and Sprint to implement a redundant co-location facility for PowerLOC’s GPS inventory and dispatching services.• Responsible for coordinating the installation of frame-relays between Rogers Wireless and AT&T for cellular data communications.• Responsible for the installation and calibration of map data into PowerLOC map servers.• Architected a third-party billing system to track data usage on Mobitex networks.• Assisted in the architecture and implementation of a fully redundant tracking server solution based on the Compaq AlphaServer and Himalaya platforms.

• Responsible for implementing a secure server infrastructure to support QubeCity.com’s main application, JetSearch.• Maintained documentation regarding the server infrastructure and provided usage analysis reports to the business and marketing divisions of the company.• Built an end-user support staff of 10 employees.
