The Client is a Major Dollar Store retailer based out of Charlotte area. The Client is upgrading the existing HR & Payroll system. My role involves validating the impact of the upgrade on the Kronos Workforce Management system; the inhouse Reporting tool ; Monitoring the project plan , alter and tailor it to meet client requirements effectively with minimal rework; Ensure the deliverable quality is monitored statistically and check if any improvement measures need to be implemented. Monitor the Technical components are outlined and if specifications formalized and tracked; Take timely decisions on approach and methodologies to follow inorder to bring the track to a successful closure.

Description of the project The End Client has planned for a migration from Oracle Payroll to IBM's HR Access(Customized to Voyager for US payroll) to maintain its employee records and process the payroll as per the pay cycle of the employees.This project involves creating Automation scripts using IBM's Rational Robot and later, using HP's Quick Test Professional to be used for Smoke testing and Regression testing of Reports, Interfaces, Web Services and the Core HRAccess functionality after every install of the new code in Integration and Acceptance environments during the implementation and maintenance of the new Payroll system using HR Access(Voyager).Responsibility : Creating Automation scripts using Rational Robot.Unit TestingRunning the automated scripts as per smoke testingOnsite-offshore coordinationInteraction with client to ensure timely delivery of the automated deliverables. In the OAB module of oracle HRMS there is provision for handling functionalitieswhich cannot be handled by oracle provided standard configuration. These are custom written PL/SQL procedures known as Rules. Oracle introduced a functionality called "First Of Next Month" where the system is enhanced to calculate eligibility as of Life event coverage start date.
