I first started as GM for the E.Commerce department. But, with the e.com bubble having burst the company was wise to have dropped a major project I was involved in. Rolled it out successfully in the NIC and trained project managers, PMO officers and even vendor project staff to use the tool for scheduling, tracking and reporting projects. A training academy that was among the pioneers in computer education in the city of Bangalore, Inida. In 1988, we started a branch in Hyderabad. With the market yet to mature and PC penetration being dismal, the above prodcuts did not find wide acceptance.Unfortunately, due to political disturbances in Hyderabad, we closed our operations there in about 1993.After I moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in late 1998, PCS could survive another 2 years.PCS has the singular distinction of conducting 7 major Inter-School and Inter-Institution Computer Quiz Competitions.
