Working as Programme Management Consultant.Drafting and managing FIDIC Contracts.Drafting Particular Conditions for FIDIC.Consultant for building the new Port Project in Qatar. Preparation tender strategy for assigned contract packages. Preparation of pre-qualification documents, evaluation strategies and reports. Compiling tender documents including facilitating the input of other project team members, such as Technical Services, Construction Management, Project Control and Safety & Health. Drafting communication required with tenderers such as Notice to Tender to discuss with the Client's Project Team. Providing input into technical and commercial evaluation reports for the approval of the Client's Project Team. Drafting Letter of Intent and Notice to Proceed. Drafting Contract Documents for the approval of Client's Project Team. Reporting on the procurement progress of assigned packages to the Procurement Director. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the pre-contract documentation and processes.

• Receive and review of material/service requests from projects and various end users in the company to assure compliance with procurement procedure.• Assign MRFs to procurement teams.• Review offers and technical & commercial price comparison statement and select the best value for the organization.• Handle vendor/ supplier commercial negotiations to get best offers.• Approve samples and drawings from the end user before placement of purchase order.• Review and negotiate commercial T&C for contracts, agreements & POs.• Identify potential problems related to materials for the projects and recommend suitable remedial measures.• Assist the Project Managers to provide the Tender & Estimation team with quotations from vendors/suppliers for tender jobs.• Manage vendor development activities, identify and develop new vendor relationships for local purchases.

• Position responsibility: Initiate Tender procedures including preparation of Tender documents and carry out tender analysis for finalizing Main Contracts.• Carry out Rate Analysis for finalizing variations from Main Contractors / Subcontractors. • Procuring Cables(132KV,33KV,22KV,11KV &LV Cables),Package Unit Substation, Feeder Pillar, Control Cabinet, Street Light Poles(30.5m,20m,14m,10m &6m) and Accessories etc as per the contract specifications to the concerned projects.• Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and claims so that payment is received from the client in accordance with the terms of the contract conditions. (exposed to Lumpsum, Remeasurable & Cost Plus based Contracts)• Finalisation of main contract & Subcontract account at completion.• Preparing documents/backup for arbitration. Exposed to dispute resolution• Identifying areas where claims/variations can be raised. Advising the Project Management to ensure that Notifications are provided to the Engineer/Client as per the Contract Conditions• Exposed to estimation work for new projects• Contractual Correspondence relating to the projects• Procurement including negotiations and placing Sub Contract Agreements• Negotiations with suppliers in getting delivered all project related materials to the concerned projects as per the company budgets.• Certifying payments and variations for subcontractors in accordance with the terms of the Subcontract agreement.• Customer requirement capture and preparation of detailed proposals and cost estimates.• Management of multi-disciplinary project teams• Ensuring customer acceptance and satisfaction.• Ensuring compliance with an ISO 9001:2000 accredited quality assurance system.• Project Correspondence with Client/Consultant, Main Contractor/Sub Contractor.• Preparation of Material Technical submittals and attaining Approvals.• Preparing detailed method statements and risk assessments.
