CurrentMinimize risks to the company and the government, while meeting Procurement objectives, safeguarding Laboratory policies, and maintaining effective relationships with the Department of Energy (DOE), Princeton University, and various Laboratory stakeholders. Utilize independent problem-solving techniques to minimize procurement risk and promote value of the procurement process. Provide acquisition pre-award support including statements of work, acquisition strategy support, cost estimates, market research, RFPs/RFQs, source selection, and other pre-award documentation. Seek quality goods and services at fair and reasonable prices to meet laboratory needs.• Manage the basic ordering agreement program with companies that provide machining, fabricating, and various metal manufacturing services for the laboratory• Negotiate and award orders for the purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, services, etc. essential to the laboratory and upgrade project• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Production departments to specify requirements, determine delivery schedule and provide regular status updates
