I’ve spent more than 30 years helping organizations navigate the fast-moving world of tech transformation, channel strategy and marketing and media – both as a journalist and marketer.As the founder and Chief Content Officer at BuzzTheory, a B2B marketing firm I launched in 2015, I work directly with tech and channel leaders to shape strategies that help their companies build their brands and drive revenue.Before BuzzTheory, I spent more than 20 years in tech media, ultimately serving as Editor-in-Chief at Channel Partners (now Channel Futures), where I helped grow the industry’s largest tech channel media property and event. During my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of tech companies and trade associations, developing marketing and PR programs that deliver real results. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’m proud to say BuzzTheory was named one of Forrester’s Top 13 Channel PR firms globally, and I’m personally recognized as one of the Top 5 most recommended channel PR strategists.These days, I lead business development at BuzzTheory and work closely with clients to craft marketing strategies that help them stand out. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to serve on the Advisory Board for the Channel Marketing Association and join the prestigious Forbes Agency Council. I’ve also served as Co-Chair of CompTIA’s Emerging Tech Community Council, Board Member for the Technology Channel Association, Advisor to the Telecom Reseller Association (now INCOMPAS) and the Wireless Reseller Association.I’m also passionate about supporting women in tech and giving back to the community. I am or have been a board member for several organizations, including Aspire2Steam, Alliance of Channel Women and Cloud Girls, all focused on helping women and girls succeed in tech careers. I also serve on the Advisory Board and am past board member for Tech4Change, which rallies the telecom and IT channel to support grassroots charities.When I’m not working, I’m probably listening to audiobooks, going on hikes in the PNW, hanging out with my husband, four sons, two cats and dog.
