My name is Khalil Ali, and I am currently a third-year student at Michigan State University under the field of communications. I am from Detroit, Michigan, born and raised my whole life I have been writing on paper so I can tell my story as that day comes. I plan on finishing college also with a minor in entrepreneurship so I can have some background when it comes to the world of opening your own business. My dream after college is to give back to my community, and that is with words and also some funds so they can give better living than certain aspects I faced growing up on the Eastside of Detroit. I saw a lot of issues in Detroit, and I would like to be the one to fix some and get others to join me in helping our fellow Detroiters as the commute through life and its struggles.I am also into other activities and hobbies besides education. I am a writer, where I write about struggles of my life and what I see in the form of poetry. I am currently learning how to play the piano as a side gig that I am interested in. And as time goes on, I am getting into more groups and activities. A close friend and I are starting a Podcast/Discussion panel for Michigan State, and we stream live on YouTube or through a series of episodes that you all can get into soon.
