Visit and select appropriate conference venues;Negotiate contracts;Schedule facilities and services;Serve as liaison between the clients and facilities;Recognize, analyze, and solve problems and issues;Coordinate event logistics including hotel accommodations, food and beverage service, meeting room setup, etc.;Develop/manage budgets;Handle event billing, payment of invoices, and financial closure;May work with content specialists to develop new educational events;May supervise and guide team of Event Planners and Associate Event Planners;Work under limited supervision.
