Principle Prevention Program Coordinator
As the Principle Prevention Program Coordinator, I developed, implemented and oversaw programs designed to empower at-risk youth ages 10-18 to make positive life choices. Through targeted prevention strategies, I worked to reduce risk factors such as substance abuse, violence, and academic failure while promoting protective factors like education, self-awareness, and mental health. My responsibilities were but weren’t limited to; designing and facilitating evidence-based prevention programs tailored to the unique needs of the community. Collaborating with schools, families, and local organizations to create a support network for youth. Conducting workshops, group sessions, and mentoring activities to foster positive behavioral changes. Collecting and analyzing data to assess program impact and make adjustments for continuous improvement. Lastly advocating for at-risk youth by identifying and addressing barriers to their success.
