In this role, I was the lead recruiter for the programme, covering 18 different locations in the country.- Managed a client portfolio of 304 positions, with over 35 sections, across 18 different locations.- Successfully led the full recruitment and on-boarding cycles of over 80 international volunteers in a 12-month period.- Streamlined the recruitment, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes, reducing the onboarding duration from 39 days to 30 days, all the while ensuring compliance with rules & regulations.- Introduced HR analytics in the support office by analyzing, tracking, and reporting on recruitment and assignments trends for both MINUSCA and UNV mid-senior management, including efforts to reach gender parity.- Improved gender representation with an increase from 35% (March 2022) to 50% female UNVs. (July 2023).- Successfully ensured Officer in Charge role, leading the UNV programme. Nouakchott, Mauritania

Bassikounou, Hodh Ech Chargui, Mauritania
UNHCR Bassikounou Sub-Office provides critical humanitarian assistance to over 70.000 Malian refugees in the nearby Mberra refugee camp. In this role, I was the head of the Field Admin Unit, as a temporary replacement capacity. - Led the Field Admin Unit composed of 11 national staffs, covering the operations' HR, Finance, Logistics and ICT needs.- Trained local staff in the processing of personnel benefits, travel and leave entitlements.- Ensured critical logistical support to various HQ, donor and partner missions to the Mberra Refugee Camp and the Hodh El-Chargui region.- Streamlined the sub-office's inventories management through the implementation of an online inventory tracking system and trained local staff in its usage.- Implemented rehabilitation projects in the UNHCR premises, through the construction of 8 extra guesthouse rooms, a gym and an ATM, improving living conditions in the duty station.
