I developed a technical asset management workbook for the technology performance management system showing the need of replace and repair of assets. This project was a success which led to it being rolled out nationally to manage technology assets on the network.I analysed the collision data of selected Single Lane Dualling junctions to investigate and provide evidence on why the number of collisions at those junctions are relatively high compared to Ghost Island and Simple Junctions even though they are more expensive to construct.I worked with the Safer Roads Design Team to propose a future layout of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) related to Vulnerable Road Users.I worked with the Safer Roads People Team in setting up a speed camera approval process. I developed an application Pro-forma and a Flowchart for approving speed cameras which was approved by the National Enforcement Coordinator (NEC) as the standard process of approving speed cameras.I worked with the Major Project Directorate under the A47 improvement scheme to study the safety alert reports received by Highways England and produce a safety trend analysis report which was presented to the Highways England Health and Safety Committee.

I worked on the first light railway project in West Africa as a Civil Engineering trainee where I inspected project sites to monitor progress and adherence to design speci cations, safety protocols and state sanitation standards. I applied my knowledge of AutoCAD software to make some drawings and helped in the editing of previous engineering drawings. I also inspected construction sites to monitor pile cap repair, excavation, drainage installations and the instalment of re safety equipment. I was among the team that conducted tra c volume counts and compiled tra c accident data to improve road safety and overall e ciency during beam transportation. I learnt the appropriate way of writing engineering reports, proposals and documentations.
