The Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer will perform counseling, data collection, medical coordination, and procedural work related to Veterans Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL) reevaluations.•Counsels military retirees undergoing TDRL reevaluation on their rights, benefits, privileges, or obligations. •Coordinates TDRL examination appointments; schedules follow-up appointments. Maintains and safe guards both hard copy and electronic medical information. •Releases medical information to authorized personnel in accordance with established guidelines. Counsels Veterans in person, by telephone, and in writing on matters related to their TDRL reevaluation. •Ensures that the individual completely understands all phases of the process. Identifies problems and recommends changes to TDRL policies and improvements to processes and services provided to Veterans and their Families.Work consists of reviewing documentation, gathering information from military retirees and Family members, or other appropriate points of contact through interviews, reports, and surveys to determine the best combination of benefits and services. Performs a variety of services to represent and/or assist individuals and Families and exercises judgment to determine which of several benefits are available. The incumbent analyzes the particular facts of each case, verifies and evaluates information, obtains additional information to reconcile discrepancies or inconsistencies, and applies pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to determine what actions can be taken for benefits sought.

Serve as Assistant manager Lead for a major hospital’s medical equipment repair area. Promoted to lead team of 8 employees in daily repair operations.
