I assumed the role of Treasury Manager in 2008 and was responsible for managing the firm's equity finance relationships, overseeing the firm's daily collateral and liquidity status, and allocating exposure across counterparties. I supported the investment team by conducting short interest analysis and sharing sector/regional positioning updates. I also provided regular updates to portfolio managers and traders with market color, liquidity, securities lending costs, and positioning data to enable well-informed business decisions.
