Lead the activity of successful implementation of organization wide Business Support System (BSS). Facilitated in identifying the key requirements, development, and testing/implementation of modules relating to Monitoring & Evaluations functions. Carried out successful implementation of Digital Verification & Validation (DVV) project across Punjab with all partner organizations. Purpose of project is to streamline Monitoring & Evaluations functions that includes Biometric Verification and Registration of trainees through NADRA, trainee enrollment, trainee & trainer attendance, stipend disbursement, uniform & bags receiving’s, geo tagging and other critical M&E functions.

Leading the delivery of PSDF’s objectives and targets in the south region of Punjab Province. Key focus was to provide facilitation in mobilization of existing training service providers and identification of new ones to participate in PSDF programs besides maintaining close relations with various TVET & educational establishments, chambers and industry associations within the region through awareness sessions, seminars/meetings and focus groups.

This was an evolving role, highly challenging and asks for improvisation where together with the team we managed the contracts’ implementation for skills training and monitored the performance of partner organizations across Pakistan. Major contributions in this position include development of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) tool kits, forms of reporting and processes for effective monitoring system. Took lead for the development and operational implementation of M&E frameworks for formal training institutes, Industry partners and community-based programs.

This was a multidimensional role including, institutional leadership, financial management, HR management, and operations management. Together with the VTI team we set up an exemplary institution that was quality conscious, service oriented and became popular amongst the local communities as an icon of ‘willing-to-serve’ entity. This was largely because of the institution’s contributions in the community development, especially for the IDPs during the devastating floods in 2010. We hosted number of trauma healing trainings, camped the IDPs during rescue and relief work and then the rehabilitation phase. I learnt a great deal to be an institutional leader in this role.

Worked with the company research and business development team for development of various programs and activities to acquire business. This was a highly interesting and learning opportunity. I largely participated in donor funded projects’ development in Education portfolio.
