My name is Khalimah, you can call me Khal and I am currently a Category Lead for Piping with MMHE. I am keen on growing my career path towards project management for EPC projects as a Interface Engineer or/and Project Engineer, hence below are some highlights from my time as the PMT. I was a Site Engineer for a power plant contractor company, Ma Hup Seng. Our primary client is Hartalega, where as a main contractor our scope includes fabricating, constructing, and installing the mechanical completion of their Production Line. I overlooked Plant no.7 Compounding Tanks and Production Line EPCI project. On the client site, I lead the project installation, testing and commissioning of each progressive stage as the focal person between my client, my contractors and man powers. I was involved in plenty of improvement jobs that were decide on the spot and have formed an excellent habit of escalating any form of issues to our fabrication team and monitoring their feedback in time.In the office, I work closely with my fabrication team to monitor material handling, including procuring material, delivery coordination, material readiness and project costing. I am keen on knowledge sharing, hence two assistant engineer were placed under my supervision as I am well versed with our scope and am able to thoroughly share that knowledge.Previously, as a Project Engineer to an Oil and Gas contractor company, I have made myself comfortable with procurement tasks. This includes tender / proposal preparation, technical / commercial bid evaluation, BOQ / RFQ / drawing reviews, material take off / data & requirement gathering, material scheduling / arrangement, manpower loading / mobilzation. Upon project awarded, I usually volunteer to be the stationed on site as I am keen on growing my knowledge and experiences as I go. For ongoing and completed projects, I monitored and aligned project schedule, material delivery and our subcontractors. I pay attention to details in writing, hence I am also a Document Controller in which I prepare fabrication readiness status / site progress report / subcontractors progress claim / vendor master document list. In short, I own the experiences for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) through out my services as described above.
