Kent Halliburton’s keen curiosity and passion for building a better future have driven him to Sazmining as the CEO overseeing the development of retail-focused, turnkey renewable energy-driven Bitcoin mining operations. Realizing the inevitability of Bitcoin adoption colliding with declining renewable energy costs led Kent back to a role at the point of the spear in a new emergent sector: renewable-energy-powered bitcoin mining. Prior to his position at Sazmining, Kent’s last prolific role was leading sales and business development efforts for a publicly-traded solar energy company. He juggled 9 figure sales targets, a team of more than 100, and oversaw the development and deployment of the software running company operations. A dynamic and capable leader, Kent easily scales perspective from the micro to the macro keeping both budgetary goals and cultural vision balanced. After his solar role, Kent fulfilled a dream of world travel, by way of international consulting, expanding his professional network across Mexico, Canada, Europe, and South America. For the last several years, he has been head-down investing and educating both himself and others on Bitcoin and the crypto industry convinced humanity’s relationship with money, energy, and time is being disrupted for the first time in a century.Kent graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Computer Engineering B.S. from California Polytechnic University.
