I'm a luxury and adventure travel writer and editor from the UK, with a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Leisure Marketing, with over 20 years' experience in the industry.Before I started my own luxury and adventure travel writing and editing company, I was Assistant Editor for leading equestrian magazine Horse&Rider UK. I then worked in a Marketing role for a cosmetics company, but decided to go down the freelance route in 2012 so I could embrace my true passion: travel.I lived in the Philippines between 2014 and 2020, and have visited 34 countries, including Mexico, Sri Lanka, the Caribbean islands, the Maldives, West Africa, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and the Cook Islands – to name but a few.I was blown away by my travels to the U.S., experiencing ranch life, spending time cowgirlin' in Montana and Wyoming,. I was also invited to visit the Californian wineries of Sonoma and Napa, and spent time in Kentucky, learning about the area, and the Kentucky equestrian and horse racing scene. When I'm not working, travelling or spending time on my campervan, Sadie, I love to wind down by walking, learning to surf, exploring, swimming, snorkeling, reading, cycling, cooking, horse riding, scuba diving and indulging in the odd Netflix binge! And nothing beats a lovely sunset with a nice glass of red.
