The Research, Insight and Evaluation (RIE) Practice is designed to lead the evidence ecosystem by informing, monitoring, and evaluating communications and media interventions globally. RIE's insights are being revealed at a critical time in the world, where harmful narratives, social behaviours, and norms are spreading with greater velocity and brutality. We partner with multilateral and bilateral agencies, international NGOs, trusts, and foundations as part of our broader commitment to interrogate, understand, measure, and explain the nature and diversity of narratives, influence, engagement, and social and behavioural change, and to build learning components into programme delivery. Since its inception in 2013, RIE has been shaping the communications research agenda on Health & Wellbeing, Youth Engagement, Prejudice, Digital Influence, and Intercultural Relations. Equally, our Special Projects have given us greater scope and flexibility to respond to the new needs of the international development and diplomacy sectors. We are industry leaders in combining digital and traditional research methodologies to produce innovative and ground-breaking insights, whilst listening to left-behind populations to understand how to engage with them most effectively.
