SARC is aimed at enhancing IITB students and alumni interaction• Initiated the process to foster alumni culture and bridge the gap between IITB and other elite world universities in terms of alumni - student relationship• Re-organized the Alumni Association outreach program by replicating models currently used by Ivy LeagueSchools including the building of personal profiles for targeted fund raising• Established contact with 1,500 alumni by mobilizing 40 student volunteers in a first ever student enterprise• Implemented a mechanism to document achievements of all students to aid in future pitches for fund raising• Created a formal organization structure to ensure self-sustainability and established SARC as an Institute body• Efforts made by SARC have already resulted in increase in donation by US $ 60,000

Analyzed distribution chain of PET products and investigated methods of handling and stacking of the product• Trained 30 workers and established the best practices in transit stacking pattern• Implemented the process at each level resulted in the reduction of damages from 1% to 0.8%• Identified techniques at packaging end of production like increasing width of shrink wrap, laminated support,simulations in packaging equipment etc., to further reduce the damages by 0.8% from 0.7%• Recommendations are currently being implemented in the bottling units at Thane and New Delhi

Apex position of the institute, elected representative of 5,500 students in policy making committees of IIT Bombay• Led a team of 13 Hostel General Secretaries to manage and improve hostel and institute facilities for students; formulated the first ever common hostel constitution• Re-launched the Internal Transport System, pending for the last 3 years; scheduled and supervised the operations to post a profit of over INR 100,000 in the first quarter enabling an increase in fleet size from 6 to 9• Redesigned the students’ accidental insurance policy by convincing authorities to take the mantle of the insurer from a private party, thus increasing transparency and reducing turnaround time from 90 days to 10 days• Initiated an exhaustive on-campus food standard improvement campaign by opening new health food outlets, conducting “Best Hostel Mess” competitions and resolving mess workers’ wage issues

Global Markets Group (GMG), ICICI Bank, BKC, Mumbai• Evaluated total flows (import & export) for companies of various sectors to identify potential clients and recommended steps for the revival of dormant clients which are currently being implemented• Analyzed Pricing Structures and Pay Off curves of various financial derivatives• Developed models to price Forex instruments by using the concepts behind pricing of structured deals

IITB's annual cultural fest organized by a team of 22 Core Group Members with footfalls of over 50,000 students and a budget of over INR 8 million• Led a team of 60 students to successfully arrange the accommodation of more than 2,500 students and guests for their 6-day stay at IIT Bombay despite logistic constraints• Spearheaded an outreach program to contact 1,400 colleges, increasing the outstation participation to a record 2,000 students as compared to 1,200 in the previous year
