Hello! My name is Kaitlin Haney. I was born in Philadelphia PA and raised in Charlotte NC. I have earned my High School diploma from South Mecklenburg High School in June 2013. I participated in JROTC, AP Psychology, dance and I was the librarian assistant in 2012-2013. Outside of academics I was part of a figure skating club, Silver Star Figure Skating Club where I earned several awards for outstanding student, most improved on and off the ice and for helping others without being asked to. After volunteering at the Pineville Ice House I became a figure skating instructor because I loved working with the kids and I loved helping students who are passionate about skating. I am now enrolled at Queens University of Charlotte full time where I am studying Occupational Therapy. I will be graduating May of 2019 and furthering my career by moving on to graduate school. I will work full time in a doctors office helping those with illnesses, or disabilities regain momentum in their body. My passion is to help others before I put myself first because that's who I am!
