Currently a postdoctoral scientist at VIB, my focus revolves around unravelling the mysteries of neurodegeneration by investigating the functional roles of mutated proteins. I've successfully optimized a platform to generate iPSC-derived motor neurons from CMT patients, conducting mechanistic and semi-throughput assays to gain valuable insights. With a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, my journey led me to Ospedale San Raffaele, where I delved into the multiple sclerosis field. There, I refined my skills in running cell-based screening assays on patient-derived materials.Beyond my scientific endeavours, I harbour a passion for translational research that directly impacts society. As a self-driven and proactive team player, I thrive in multidisciplinary projects. Recognized for my meticulous attention to detail, I specialize in designing and executing impactful experiments.Eager to integrate my scientific insight with business expertise and innovation, I am poised to contribute to the success of forward-thinking organizations. Let's connect and explore how we can merge science and business for mutual success!
