CurrentIftikhar is a Senior Director of Machine Learning (ML) Engineering at Capital One’s Card Tech organization. Capital One is one of the leading Bank and Credit Card issuers in the US. Iftikhar leads Engineering practices for ML and Generative AI (GenAI) for Card Fraud prevention, Servicing, Collections and Recoveries. He is leading an organization of 10 Scrum teams of 60+ ML Engineers and leaders. His teams build and own Feature engineering and build, train and deploy models to production using Python, Spark, MLOps and Kubernete. Iftikhar partners with Data Science, Architecture and Engineering leadership across the organization to drive strategy to meet business needs, usage of GenAI and is driving a consistent approach to MLOps, model deployment and model monitoring.
