At BB&T, then Truist, I was impressed with Sajid’s ability to draw on his many, diverse experiences to chart new, exciting directions….and use them as he dove in to resolve thorny, real-time issues. Sajid wouldn’t quit when it was tough. He dug in. I’ve seen how his technical, financial, digital and payments background allow him to play across a number of industries. If not initially familiar with an industry-specific nuance, he gets there amazingly fast. And is not satisfied with participating, he leads in that space. A matrix structure sounds nice, making it work is tough. Sajid knows how to navigate across an organization; he’s very effective at networking and drawing others in. He engages well one-to-one with others, regardless of their organizational level or expertise. I will make this a little more specific. Sajid was on a Finance track at BB&T, and we persuaded him to accept a new role. One which focused on digital payments that could deliver delightful client experiences. Sajid greatly exceeded expectations in that and a subsequent role. Sajid seeks and enjoys new challenges. He has the talent and expertise to make things happen.
