Omar served as Chief Product Officer of Magic Leap, a global leader in augmented reality. At Magic Leap, Omar led the product research, prototyping, UI/UX design, product management, product marketing and global telecom carrier partnership functions. After his role in the launch of Magic Leap One and its core applications, he was responsible for the definition of Magic Leap Two, core applications and the product/services roadmap that will follow Magic Leap Two. Omar continued to serve as an Advisor to the company following his role as Chief Product Officer.

Omar was an executive board member of Transformco and CEO of Transform Brands (portfolio company), where he led Kenmore and DieHard, two iconic American brands. Omar led the efforts to operationally separate the brands business from the legacy Sears retail business and externalize its distribution footprint. During his tenure, Kenmore was relaunched nationally at Amazon, Costco, Howard's and Lowe’s.

Omar served as the President of Enseo, a privately-held company providing technology solutions to the hospitality, education and healthcare industries. He was focused on building an operational and financial foundation to enable the company to accelerate its growth.

Omar served as the President & COO of Round Room LLC, a privately-held holding company. He served in multiple capacities of Round Room portfolio companies including: President of The Cellular Connection, CEO of Redux and President of Wireless Zone. Round Room leads and invests in companies serving the wireless industry. The company began operations with TCC, the leading Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer in the United States. Since moving the corporate headquarters to Carmel, Indiana in 2013, the company began to expand operations through strategic investments in Redux and developing solutions in complimentary areas. The establishment of Round Room LLC continues this evolution, driven by our guiding principle to serve our customers, employees, and communities.

Led the company’s mobile development and delivery efforts globally. In addition to developing and maintaining the global portfolio of mobile applications, he led the development of mobile wallet applications and became the first to partner with and integrate into the Google Wallet solution.

Omar had responsibility for the Global Supply Chain & Business Operations supporting the Mobile Devices business; this business accounted for $30B+ in revenue from sales of 217M handset units across 6 regions (2006). In this role, he held responsibility for sales & operations planning, product lifecycle management, all regional business operations, customer operations, value-added services, supply planning, inventory planning, excess & obsolescence, global order management, delivery, delivered quality, etc.Prior roles:As VP of Global Business Planning & Operations, Omar had responsibility for Global Planning & Operations supporting the Worldwide Mobile Devices business; this business accounted for $30B+ in revenue from sales of 217M handset units across 6 regions. In this role, he had responsibility for developing, re-engineering, deploying, executing and optimizing end-to-end global processes related to sales & operations planning, supply planning, operational alignment (order to execution) and reporting/analytics. He managed 450 personnel (190 IDL, 260 DL)worldwide and $2B+ in global spend across 4 EMS/ODM partners, 3 internal manufacturing sites, 5 distribution centers, 300+ suppliers and 2500+ parts.
