Reporting to and supporting the Senior Vice President of Scholarships and Programs, the Director for Scholarship Operations, Student Services and Alumni Relations will provide active oversight and comprehensive management of the day-to-day operations related to the administration of the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, UNCF Student Services, GMS Alumni Relations and GMS Program Operations. In addition, the Director is responsible for the cross functional development, support and successful execution of the program goals, outcomes, and delivery of student support services and alumni engagement. The Director will also oversee GMS Scholarship operations and ensure operational goals and objectives related to scholarship awards, renewals, and deferments are administered according to the program guidelines. The Director will also have strategic operational and strategic management of the UNCF Target Scholars program and Gates Millennium Scholars program's wrap around services (student services and retention), Scholar and Alumni engagement, and lead the execution, and management of the Alumni program grant. Other Responsibilities include leading cross functionally, actively providing guidance and support for the advancement of departmental policies and procedures, capturing institutional knowledge, developing and analyzing program data reports utilizing UNCF’s Salesforce CRM system, interacting with external stakeholders, students, and institutional & interdepartmental staff to carry out, maintain the programs’ success. Proving departmental leadership, the director will oversee a team 8-13 full-time professionals.
