How to describe myself in just a few characters?On paper, I've been a Clinical Recruiter for over seven years, and an HR Generalist for three. I have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Human Resources, and my SHRM-CP. I am the current Marketing and Communications Chair for Detroit SHRM. I consistently excel at meeting my KPI and scorecard goals, and regularly take on new projects. But, that's kind of boring, right? You can read all of that in my work history below. As a person, I am.... -an amateur dancer (driven, and willing to put in the work) -a rescue dog mom (willing to weed through hardship in order to problem solve) -a family member (one of the biggest cheerleaders for those I care for) -someone who seeks out adventure in my town (courageous enough to put myself in new situations and just figure it out) -a good friend (someone with morals, values and strong ethics willing to prioritize what matters) -your favorite coworker to ask to cover you! (willing to help and operate with a team mentality) -an animal rescue volunteer (empathetic and driven by helping the greater good) -a musician (someone willing to learn the "language" to better communicate with the audience) I am a whole person looking for the opportunity to continue to grow. Achievements: -Through my work in this position, I have been nominated for a 2024 MISHRM Award. -In my first 12 months (September 2023 through September 2024), I have increased the DSHRM LinkedIn followers by 1,288 for a total of 8,181 (and growing!).-I have organized four successful HR Networking events (Five Iron Golf - sold out at 40, Alley Deck - 73 attendees, Public House - 46 attendees, Leon & Lulu - 54 attendees). -I have grown the committee from 4 individuals to 7 volunteers, and continue to delegate and train volunteers on existing processes and procedures to ensure the longevity of the group. -I have piloted Board Spotlights on the social media pages, increasing engagement and expanding our reach to each individual board member's networks. -I participated in the Annual Conference Planning Committee which helped grow the third annual conference to a sold out 365 attendees in 2024.
