Achievements: -Through my work in this position, I have been nominated for a 2024 MISHRM Award. -In my first 12 months (September 2023 through September 2024), I have increased the DSHRM LinkedIn followers by 1,288 for a total of 8,181 (and growing!).-I have organized four successful HR Networking events (Five Iron Golf - sold out at 40, Alley Deck - 73 attendees, Public House - 46 attendees, Leon & Lulu - 54 attendees). -I have grown the committee from 4 individuals to 7 volunteers, and continue to delegate and train volunteers on existing processes and procedures to ensure the longevity of the group. -I have piloted Board Spotlights on the social media pages, increasing engagement and expanding our reach to each individual board member's networks. -I participated in the Annual Conference Planning Committee which helped grow the third annual conference to a sold out 365 attendees in 2024. Our committee's responsibilities include the following (which I participate in and lead/delegate to our additional volunteers): -Organizing our communications calendar (email and social media) -Planning four HR Connect Networking events per year-Photographing each event for additional marketing content -Distributing DSHRM informational materials in partnership with the DEI, Resource Partner, Legal & Community, and Membership Committees-Designing and distributing marketing graphics for all chapter events -Assisting in organizing and marketing the Annual DSHRM Conference -Communicating affiliate conference marketing materials in partnership with similar organizations (see Crain's Detroit Business, MCEEA, MESP, ASE, and EAM)

Ascension Health - Talent AcquisitionAscension is a large, non-profit healthcare organization with 22,000+ employees nationwide. I have been a TA in three different markets as a group of 36, 5 and 25 recruiters respectively. Achievements: -Talent Advisor of the Month, October 2023 - Ascension Wisconsin -Elected as an iCIMS Ambassador and Peer Mentor (one of two individuals for my unique market) -Lead Recruiter for Metro Detroit Nurse Internship Program (spread over 6 facilities) for a three year period; I grew this program’s scale in partnership with Nursing Education. Our Intern offers per calendar year were as follows: -76 (2021)-99 (2022)-109 (2023) -High-volume, high-fill rate recruiter; total offers per calendar year: -485 (2021- approx 90 req load)-475 (2022 - approx 90 req load) -277 (2023 - approx 40 req load) My responsibilities in this role include: -Maintaining a high volume requisition load of 40-90 postings at a time as a full cycle recruiter. -Recruiting for various job titles including from entry level to mid-level managers and directors, licensed professionals, and support staff. -Recruiting in a unionized environment in partnership with our C-level Executives and Labor Relations.-Acting as a peer mentor and liaison with our iCIMS deployment team. This includes problem solving technical difficulties, escalating concerns, training my peers, acting as a subject matter expert, and acting as a process advocate. -Partnering with hiring leaders on intake calls to ensure a complete understanding of their work environment, leadership style, and their job openings. -Conducting passive sourcing via Talent Networks, Indeed, LinkedIn, Boolean Searches, etc. -Building relationships with leaders, candidates and stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and recruitment standards. -Recruiting for multiple Ascension Markets as assigned, including Michigan, New York and Wisconsin.

Ascension Health - HR Operations Center of Expertise Ascension is a large, non-profit healthcare organization with 22,000+ employees nationwide. I was promoted to this role during Ascension St John Providence’s reorganization to a national Human Resources Center of Expertise Model. In this role, I: -Acted as a Lead HR Generalist, and provided support to our HR Operations Manager and HR Assistants. -Processed various contracts including: physician employment, severance, etc. This utilized our HRIS (Oracle) and ServiceNow systems. -Partnered with our HR Director and HR Partner representatives on a special project, partnering with Iron Mountain, to digitize all personnel files. -Assisted in the reorganization of the Retiree Recognition program for our Metro Detroit locations. -Performed all other HR Assistant roles as assigned (see below).

Ascension St John Providence I was promoted to this role following my internship with Ascension St John Providence. I worked in this role throughout my senior year of my undergraduate program, and following my graduation. In this role, I: -Facilitated new hire appointments explaining orientation and benefit eligibility, completed the I-9 form, and collecting and processing tax documentation.-Partnered with our Legal Department and Immigration Attorneys to renew TN Visa and Green Card Renewal and Sponsorship Letters, and compiling documentation for any applicable immigration inquiries. -Partnered with Medical Education to onboard (approximately 120) medical residents (including those on J1 and F1 Visas) seasonally. -Conducted pay equity studies in partnership with the HR Business Partners to ensure internal compensation equity. -Acted as a recruitment assistant: prepping job offers, running local criminal checks, and monitoring our background vendor checks for completion.-Supported our HR Department through administrative tasks, including: maintaining and creating personnel files, processing corrective action reports within Oracle PeopleSoft, and providing support to our six HR Business Partners and one HR Director.

Ascension St John ProvidenceIn this volunteer internship role, I worked with the Corporate Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Affirmative Action teams. In support of these teams, I completed: -Routine office filing of personnel files -Customer service via phone and email -Support of survey analysis including affirmative action and post-termination surveys

The Detroit Athletic Club is a private, members only club in Downtown Detroit. In this role, I was responsible for:-selling merchandise in the shop-maintaining organization of the shop and stock room -inventory control and reporting back to the Comptroller -collecting and logging payment of goods via credit, cash and chits -set up, visual merchandising, and tear down of special event shop tables at tailgates and parties -administrative needs of the athletic department as needed

Seasonally, I worked as a front desk receptionist at an OB Gyn Clinic of six medical doctors. In this role, I was responsible for:-customer service via phone and email -scheduling appointments via Misys-filing lab results and paper charts while maintaining HIPAA compliance -checking in patients including collecting forms, identification and insurance cards, and verifying active insurance -conducting intake calls on potential new patients
