About Pritika Khatri

Public Health Professional with 10 years of experience in health policy and system research, HIV and TB, reproductive health, maternal and child health, global health, and multifunctional project management in challenging and fragile settings across the US, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Skills• Global Health | HIV and TB | Sexual and Reproductive Health • Health Policy and System Research • Health Systems Strengthening • Project Management | Strategic Partnerships • Data Analysis: SPSS, STATA, R, Python, SAS, and NVIVO • Infectious Disease Epidemiology | Disease Pathogenesis | Causal Inference | Spatial Statistics | Cost-Effectiveness AnalysisAt International Risk Management LLC, I consulted with private, university, and government clients for health system strengthening and health policy and system research in the US. My work with Harvard-funded self-Sustaining Health Enterprise has benefitted over 60000 since its induction and continues to help over 2500 people every month. Previously, I supervised the National Level Public Health Surveys: National Tuberculosis (TB) Prevalence Survey and Transmission Assessment Survey of the Government of Nepal. I saw health disparities, the remote wilderness of ignorance still hitting the communities where people still lack even the cleanest drinking water. Post-major earthquake, my work helped ensure safe motherhood, reproductive health, HIV, and TB to the earthquake-affected people in an emergency. It fueled me to work relentlessly, passionately, and most of all, wholeheartedly to end structural barriers to health. Recently I completed a fellowship with World Health Organization in Bangalore, India, that focused on health policy and system research. In my room, Florence Nightingale's picture ignited my journey into public health. From the rural Himalayas to the vibrant landscapes of India, my nursing roots led me to seek a broader impact in public health. Witnessing healthcare disparities in Nigeria, I realized my purpose lay in bridging gaps and shaping policies. Now in the US, I'm eager to collaborate on HIV, reproductive health, and community systems, forging a path to a healthier, equitable world. Together, let's build on experiences that transcend borders, making a lasting difference in lives near and far.
