Khawar Mehmood currently works at the Department of Applied Mathematics & Statistics in Institute of Space Technology Islamabad, Pakistan since 2020. Khawar did his PhD from Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences, Government College University Lahore, Pakistan in 2018 under the supervision of German Professor Dr. Gerhard Pfister. Khawar does research in Singularity Theory and Pure Mathematics. Their current project is "Classification of Simple Singularities in Positive Characteristic".
