I am one of the few Islamic Bankers who has dual expertise in the area of developing the Islamic Banking Products and IT based solutions. I did my graduation in Business Administration (BBA-Honors). I have also completed Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Master in Islamic Banking & Finance (MIBF). Beside obtained Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Islamic Banking & Finance, Advance Level Certification (ALC) in Islamic Jurisprudence and Certified Islamic Banker from NIBAF-State Bank of Pakistan.I have also been associated with the Project Management and Product Development activities in major Banks of Pakistan for more than Seven years.I have worked on local and international core banking applications for product developments and system implementations like Unibank, Symbols, iMAL and hPLUS. In Summit Bank being a Project Manager, I managed the complete project of ‘Conversion of Conventional Banking into Islamic Banking’ by arranging / building up parallel Core Banking System for Islamic within existing hPLUS (core banking application). During my stay in UBL, I have developed and managed the Islamic Banking Products; launched Islamic Profit Calculation System, Branch Conversion from Conventional to Islamic and Islamic Banking Windows. I am also a member of ‘Board of Studies’ in Royal Institute of Leadership & Management Science. Furthermore, I am a Visiting Faculty Member of KASBIT and Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre. Also participates in various local TV Channels on the topic of Islamic Banking as Guest Speaker.
