1. Used Solidworks to create 3-D models of Mars UAV and all sub-systems including air cannon delivery system and ballistic shell.2. Designed air cannon based on pre-determined flight characteristics and calculated internal forces present during launch so that structural analysis could be completed.3. Used ANSYS to analyze the Mars UAV and ballistic shell during launch and shell separation at apogee.4. Provided feedback to design teams on structural concerns so that proper materials could be used that would ensure the survivability of the aircraft during launch and separation from shell.

Nasa Usli Rocketry Competition, Huntsville, Al

1. Assisted in undergraduate research of rocketry risk mitigation.2. Coordinated meetings with design teams to gather component/assembly sketches and measurements. Provided feedback based on feasibility of design in accordance with system requirements.3. Led a four-person team responsible for development and modification of 3-D models and technical drawings of payload and component designs as per NASA USLI guidelines using Solidworks.4. Personally responsible for modeling and structural analysis of NASA SMD payload and for ensuring that all subsystems were designed accurately to ensure proper fit of assembled components.5.
