I currently work as the Lead Cloud Security Engineer at GoodLeap responsible for assisting various DevSecOps teams secure their cloud deployments in AWS by providing cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to secure SaaSapplications, clouds, containers, operating systems, databases, and networks. I assist assist in the development of cyber security requirements, conduct security risk assessments, evaluate security services and technologies, and review and document information security policies and procedures as well as provide monitoring and oversight for alerts for the environment.I worked at Progressive Insurance in their Cloud Org. I transitioned to this team to guide product development and help provide direction for securing resources in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud spaces as well as our OpenShift container space. I worked with security tools to identify vulnerabilities with the cloud space and utilize native cloud tools to apply policies to keep resources secure and in compliance with current security standards. Automation was also a large part of my work utilizing python and PowerShell in conjunction with pipeline tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps. With 10+ years of infrastructure and server management experience, and a couple years in the Public Cloud arena, I am an Information Technology leader skilled in cloud technologies, driving project excellence and security. I possess a well-rounded background in IT infrastructure management, networking, virtualization.
