About Khellmar Daring
After migrating from Jamaica to Winooski, Vermont, I quickly found my passion in videography and filmmaking. Recognizing that I needed to improve my ability with the camera, my passion led me to studying at Burlington Technical Center. While there I completed countless films and workshops which allowed me to become confident in my ability behind the camera. However as an immigrant child in a single-parent household, my interest in personal finance and finance as a whole continued to grow. While working towards my diploma I took a few college-level financial literacy courses and quickly fell in love with the subject. I figured that with a degree in finance I would be able to better understand my own finances, while also preparing myself for any future endeavors I may have in Entrepreneurship. After graduating BTC and Winooski High School, I enrolled in and currently attend Champlain College.
