It also means you have bothered to read at least some of what I do below 🙂Definitely NOT looking for any IT or cloud service providers; or needing any IT staff (Linkedin thinks that's what CTOs do, we don't, at least not in the video games industry)! 🙏🏽 BIO:I am passionate about technology, from early days of hobby programming as a teenager to university, all the way through to technical leadership at various exciting companies. The diverse fields and applications of technology keeps my fascination fuelled. I love videogames in particular, and I thoroughly enjoy being right in the middle of the industries whose technological advances keep my passion fulfilled pretty well. I started in the videogames industry in 1996 as a Software engineer, the day after, my MSc in Comp Sc from Edinburgh Univ, swiftly moving to technical leadership roles at notable development studios & publisher houses. I moved over to platform-holders around 2005 starting with Microsoft and soon after to Sony PlayStation as the Head of Developer Services, running the developer technology services division, just after the launch of PS3 in Europe in 2007. I was responsible for developing and managing resources for all PlayStation developer facing technical activities with a simple goal of helping game developers and middleware partners make the best games and tools on PlayStation through world class support. I had my personal goal of making PlayStation technology and platform more accessible and approachable to developers and middleware partners and pleased to have over-achieve that in the 8 years I was at PlayStation Europe.I am currently on multiple advisory boards that pan across academia as well as commercial businesses. Current clients include establishing an incubation centre in London to mainstream high-end videogames co-development and a client publishing sports and puzzle games.I am also the founding Chair of BiG (BAME in Games) where we advocate more underrepresented ethnicities working in the video-games industry.Listed as:Top 100 IT/Tech leaders in the UK 2023 by Computing The Top 100 most influential BAME leaders in UK Tech 2019 in the Financial TimesAwarded the first ever ‘Diversity Star Award’ at the Video Games Industry Develop:Star Awards 2019 ‘The Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech’ by Diversity UK in 2018.
