I am currently a Senior Intern on the Biology R&D team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Eugene, Oregon. I recently finished my graduate studies from the University of Oregon in the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program for accelerating scientific impact (M.S. Chemistry - September 2024). As a highly motivated scientist with a passion for the field of chemistry, I am eager to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, fragrance, or defense sectors as an analytical chemist or research and development scientist.I completed my undergraduate studies at the Colorado School of Mines, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry and a minor in Biomedical Engineering (May 2023). I engaged in undergraduate research, exploring the biochemistry and analytical techniques of marine alga biomass. Additionally, pursued various leadership roles on campus, including serving as a Community Director, social chair for the Order of Omega, and a member of both the Society for Women Engineers (SWE) and the American Chemical Society (ACS).
