__Supervising and being responsible for the purchasing activities of a $60-million annual revenue Business Unit.• Managing a team of 5 buyers, including 2 on-site buyers; 2 IMAC/IPO Malaysia-basedbuyers (centralized strategic purchasing centers) and 1 on-site assistant buyer.• Coordinating and supervising a variety of purchasing functions from: Pricing Administration;Sourcing Execution; Material Sizing Process; Order and Vendor’s Performance Management;Proper Material Dispositioning; Supply Chain Model Development & Implementation;Supply Crisis Management; New Product Introduction (NPI) & ECO, ECN Implementation(purchasing related).Reporting to:• Purchasing Manager: Functional aspects, periodical reports and metrics (Days in Inventory(DII) - Inventory Projection; Excess & Obsolescence (E&O); RTV/RTC…)• Workcell Manager: Overall operational impacts.• Business Unit Manager: Cost-impacted metrics/data (Purchase Price Variance (PPV) &Freight-in Premium Cost reports), Customer-related: PPV; Quick turn-around costproposal.• Customer: Material pipeline status; Material risk escalations.Closely collaborating with:• Supply Chain Development Manager: in managing supply crisis; resolving materialconstraints; negotiating & implementing global sourcing/pricing decisions; cost-downnegotiation; supporting localization process; customer’s liability claiming.• Master Planner: in forming and providing precise commitments to customer under variousmaterial status, demand scenarios and urgency levels; coordinating to prepare effective andsmooth 24/7 production plans.• Business Unit Program Manager: in timely executing material-related action plans forexpediting new projects.• Technical team (Manufacturing, Component, Quality and Supplier Quality Engineers…): incorrectly implementing engineering changes related to material/components; facilitatingroot-cause analysis and driving supplier’s corrective actions to relevant quality issues.

__Managing a portfolio of 60+ oversea suppliers, vendors.• Analyzes, maintains, and executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).• Continuously monitors and verifies materials pipeline to ensure it meets the MRP requirements. Identify and appropriately address materials supply issues.• Ensures materials availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of materials movement through receiving to production.• Tracks and provides supporting data to BUM (Business Unit Manager) in order to clearly define customer liable materials.• Executes and maximizes Jabil negotiated terms with suppliers to reduce materials liability.• Ensures suppliers’ adherence to established agreements.• Optimizes order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers.• Maintains integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters in order to minimize material liability and to balance the cost of procurement with inventory investment levels.• Monitors and continuously improves supplier’s delivery and quality performance. Address and resolve recurring or critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools and additional resources.• Provides inputs to drive and execute Jabil’s commodity and pricing strategy. Works closely with Buyers, Commodity Managers, & SCM. Provide feedback on supplier performance and Jabil’s strategies.• Make sourcing decisions based on overall cost and benefit including price, duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality, and terms & conditions. • Monitors, tracks, and provides feedback on suppliers’ performance on delivery, quality, and service.• Develop and implement Jabil Supply Chain strategies.
