JOB DESCRIPTION * Creation and Implementation of Policies and Procedures * Creation and Implementation of Toolbox Talks* Conducting Risk Assessments * Reviewing and Communicating Risk assessments * Supervising that Employees are Conducting mini Risk Assessments * Spot checking mini Risk Assessments and doing Lockouts * Daily update of weekly reports*Daily PTO's to be completed * Submit comprehensive monthly HSE report to General Manager and SHEQSOLVE management * Assist with all OHS audits;internal and external * Weekly waste collection to be completed * Monthly dust samples collection to be done (Acuatico)* Daily,Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done * Safety meetings to be held every 3 month's * All employee complaints to be communicated to HR or Site Manager * All applicable documentation to be loaded onto SHEQ Aid system * Toolbox talk files for Engineering and Workshop to be filled when empty * Spot check to be done daily regarding Housekeeping * Continuous Improvement to be achieved regarding raised issues * Morning communication to be done with SHEQSOLVE team * Administering First Aid to injured employees * Transportation of medical treatment IOD's to hospital with Company transport if ambulance not required * Filling in WCL2 paperwork and handling all things related to IOD's* Safety meetings with management when necessary * Building relationship with all employees from General worker to Site Manager * Consulting management on safety concerns and working together towards solutions * Assisting with certain miscellaneous orders from management * Ensure NCR Improvements are made monthly if not weekly * Ensure IOD employees are taken for follow up appointments * Conducting drugs and alcohol testing when required * Reporting of all inspections/checklist findings to applicable department or personnel * Communicate Corrective action plan with Site Manager weekly * Ensure training is scheduled for untrained employees

JOB SUMMARY• To apply and monitor the application of SHE controls systems and procedures according to organizational and legislative requirements.• To ensure that the areas of responsibility as dedicated from time to time conforms to all applicable legislation and OHSAS 18 001 requirements.• To establish and maintain a safety awareness culture in areas of responsibility as dedicated from time to time amongst management and workers.• Authority to stop any activities when action could result in injury or damage to equipment • In-depth investigations into all reported incidents are done to determine the direct, sub- and underlying causes and the reporting to the relevant authorities.• Conducting of monthly scheduled OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and 14001 audits• Attending of regular SHEQ meetings• Training and coaching of workers in the requirements of OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and 14001• Develop and monitor progress of SHE Action Plan• To provide up to date and accurate information and safety systems support to the safety Department and other team members to ensure the efficient use and transfer of information• To maintain and ensure all safety systems data are accurate.
