Founder and designer of the eponymous brand with the objective of cornering the market forinnovative yet simply refined designs that showcase and celebrate expertly sourced leathers andtrim. Duties stretched from concept development and mapping of product line, to patternmaking and sourcing materials and trims. Hand produced leather goods, working with amultitude of natural and man made materials occasionally with assistance from apprentice andlimited liaison factory runs and large scale production. A large aspect of everydayresponsibilities include managing orders sold on the brand’s own e-commerce website and wellas liaison with buyers of nationally and internationally distributed retail channels.

Design and develop collections to be produced and sold to major retailers and online shops. Managing a team of designers and production assistants to work within a confined schedule with special instructions from the retailer.

Footwear Internship Responsibilities include, hand and CAD sketching, researching currentproduct as well as material trends and assisting in creation of concept boards. Keeping aphotographic archive of past collections as well as maintaining the vintage accessories archivefor current season research. Preserving relations with overseas in house designers and factoriesto help produce a highly creative and successful footwear collection for the Spring Summer2009 Collections Fashion Show and subsequent market week.

Primary Involvement in all aspect of the creation of leather goods from design concepts,materials and trims, production assessment as well as press and media relations. Occasionalinvolvement in trade shows and pop up shopping events.
