🤵‍♂️ Hello! I’m Khoi, a Software Engineering student at The University of Texas at Dallas and Co-Founder of Adventurefy. I currently lead technical operations and contribute to the engineering of our cross-platform application.⚔️ In February 2024, I co-founded a startup that aims to revolutionize how parents, teachers, and students approach their goals and education through gamification, a concept that makes productivity addictive. Backed by research, we aim to make work fun. Currently, I’m the CTO and a Full-Stack Engineer, developing our app and managing our project structure.🧑‍💻 In the fall of 2024, I joined the Nebula Labs API and Platform team at UTD, which aims to provide reliable and feature-rich data infrastructure for all of Nebula’s projects. We work with data integration and manage the largest dataset of university data on campus.🍔 I also worked as a Social Media Marketing intern at Foodify, where I conducted market research and analysis to identify weak points and connected with restaurant owners and managers to promote Foodify's personalized influencer packages.🧑‍🔧 From a young age, I always had an explorative personality. Breaking and building things fueled my curiosity. I spent time exploring and learning various aspects of technology, from hardware to software, and I became fascinated with technology and its creative potential. I would help friends and family set up devices in their homes, and I loved hacking and gaming.💻 Primarily, my tech stack revolves around Python, Typescript, Supabase, and PostgreSQL. Currently, I’m working extensively on iOS/Android development using the React Native framework.💸 In the summer of 2024, I helped represent Adventurefy and secured first place at the CometX Accelerator Program pitching competition for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UTD, where we showcased how the app bridges real-life goals with a fantasy RPG world to make productivity fun and engaging.🏖️ In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, trying new foods, watching shows (anime :D), gaming, and exercising. I’m really into productivity and science, so I also spend time researching and learning about things to enrich my life. Currently, I’m working on launching a self-growth-focused YouTube channel where I share my research and insights through fun, animated content.
